A brief introduction not written by ChatGPT
Computers have fascinated me since I was a child, which is why I chose a career in Computer Science. Beyond academics I explore philosophy, psychology and neuroscience, adding humanistic insight to my STEM background.
In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, and walking in the woods with my dog, William. I also tinker in my home lab, building Home Assistant automations and occasionally messing up my Docker installation.
Work experience
| - now | Software Engineer, Junior @ Akamas |
| - | Software Engineer, Internship @ Akamas Developed and debugged the flagship products with senior developers. Built two alternative tuners for Insights, focused on Kubernetes. Benchmarked my thesis against real-world data. |
| - now | Open Source Developer @ GitHub iOS and macOS utilities in Swift, SwiftUI and Combine. Fixes and refactoring for Home Assistant. |
| - | Teaching Assistant, Advanced Programming @ UniBG Taught over 50 graduate students: OOP (C++), design patterns (Java), memory management (C), functional programming (Scala). |
Academic journey
